Video: Taylor Swift parodied in unofficial NHL lockout song - Examiner.com

Taylor Swift might not be into hockey, but some of her fans are definitely into the NHL. After the lockout of the players the fans have been sharing their disappointment with the league, owners and the players in hopes that the lockout ends. On Sunday a couple of fans from the radio station in Winnipeg has used Taylor Swift's latest song We Are Never Getting Back Together to share the frustration of the NHL lockout.

Vicki Shae of the country radio station QX 104 is seen singing the song, with a few adjustments that fit the hockey theme of the lockout. From kissing photos of the players to kicking back a few drinks as fans do when supporting the team, the entire video shares the flavor of Swift’s break up song while reflecting on the issues of the NHL.

As everyone knows a parody song of this nature isn’t endorsed by the country singer, but that hasn’t stopped the fans from checking out the video and commiserating in the situation. Since the video was put up on YouTube Sunday, there have been over 70,000 people who have viewed it. And the situation with the NHL is currently at a stalemate with neither side talking since the walk out.

Take a look at the video clip of the parodied Taylor Swift single.
